Why most japa plans go wrong before the visa
Most people start with a number someone else gave them: an agent's quote, a WhatsApp forward, a blog from two years ago. You can't tell which part is the government fee and which part is somebody's cut. That is where people lose money.
In June 2026 the EFCC arrested two people in Enugu over ₦68 million taken from 24 Nigerians who were promised work visas — roughly ₦2.8 million each.
